Washington quarterback Keith Price has up until this point exceeded expectations with 691 yards passing, 11 touchdowns and three interceptions through three games. Unfortunately, he's
taken somewhat of a beating
and doesn't appear to be 100 percent heading into this week's PAC-10 home opener against California. The Huskies opened as 3-point favorites were bet down to as low as a pick 'em at some sportsbooks.
Price said this week his right knee is 90 percent healed, but that his left knee was just 40 or 50 percent healthy.
"I didn't know I was going to be this banged up," Price said. "And it hasn't even been on really big hits. I'm injuring myself."

The final leg of the FedEx playoff tees off Thursday with The Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. Thirty players remain in the running for a massive payday; $1.44 million for winning the tournament, and a $10 million bonus for winning the FedExCup.
The math is simple for the top-5 players in the FedExCup playoff points standings: Win the tournament and you win the FedExCup and over $11.4M.

Still no official news on Tulsa quarterback GJ Kinne. As per yesterday's post, some sources have him day-to-day while others say he'll be out 2-4 weeks. Perhaps there are some “in the know” as we see a rare line move against Boise State at home with the Broncos bet down from -32.5 to as low as -28.
Tulsa head coach Bill Blankenship at Monday's press conference: "There's nothing much more than what we knew before. He is going to be day-to-day and I'm not just saying that. He was much better yesterday than he was on early Sunday morning when he left the field. It is my understanding that he will have an MRI done to just confirm what we expect the diagnosis to be and he has not had that done yet."

A few close wins or losses could have the overall records slightly different based on closing lines and sportsbook. No division games in Week 2, and home underdogs went 2-4 SU and 3-2-1 ATS. News and notes on
Denver's defensive game plan
for stopping Tennessee's run game. Last season, in a 26-20 victory, the Broncos used a 5-2 front for much of the game and held Chris Johnson to 53 yards on 19 carries. They did however give up a 54-yard run to back-up Javon Ringer. Outside of Ringer's run, the Broncos held the Titans to 3.2 yards per carry. Expect a similar focus from the road side this weekend in Nashville.
