I expect us to be able to get Peyton and Charles into the open field and let them do their thing. I think it’s on us to get them into the secondary.

Good news Dolphins fans,
quarterback David Garrard
thinks his chances of starting are pretty good. Garrard made the Pro Bowl in 2010 but missed all of last season after having back surgery. Garrard will be competing against Matt Moore and first round draft pick Ryan Tannehill.
"I think my chances are pretty good," he said Friday. "I don't think they would have me here or even say that it was open competition if my chances weren't good. I know I can still play.
"The quarterback position is the one position that you can clearly see most of the time who should be out there. As long as I continue to do my job and do what I can do and play my best, then hopefully that's enough."

Last year, Buffalo went 6-10 SU, 6-9-1 ATS and 11-4-1 to the Over. They had a net of -0.2 yards per play (ypp) and +1 TO margin vs. a tougher than average schedule. The Bills started 5-2 but were decimated with injuries and closed out the season on a dismal 1-8 SU, 2-7 ATS slide.
2012 Issues:
This year, the Bills schedule is significantly easier based on the current 2012 Season O/U Win Total numbers. Buffalo will go from having a tougher than average schedule to having an easier than average slate; one of the biggest differentials from last year to this year in the entire league.
The Bills have a 12-year playoff drought – their last postseason appearance came back in January, 2000 in the Music City Miracle game at Tennessee. They signed Ryan Fitzpatrick to a six year $59 million contract last year, and then proceeded to watch Fitzpatrick lead the NFL with 23 interceptions. big improvements
out of his unit this season. The Eagles actually tied Minnesota for the most sacks in the league (50) but ranked 19th at stopping the run (4.4 ypc) in 2011.
“We have real good talent,” Washburn said, via PhiladelphiaEagles.com. “We started figuring it out at the end and it ought to be a whole lot better. I’d be crushed, hell I’d quit if we’re not a whole lot better. They need to fire my ass if we’re not better. We should be a lot better.”
“No excuses, but they didn’t know my name when we met up here last year,” Washburn said. “Golly, I look at the first couple games, all the plays that we screwed up last year on the run, especially the run. Golly, I looked at Atlanta and St. Louis and it’s painful to watch our technique . . . No excuse, it’s just life. The other teams were in the same situation. . . . We ought to be so much better.
