Another gambling movie that probably won't be good slated for production

It is our obligation, no matter how bleak the outlook, to post news of gambling related movies slated for production. Recently, we called out Lay the Favorite's trailer for providing little to no incentive to spend even $1 at Red Box. Various reviews agree with our assessment. Then there is Runner, Runner with Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake slated for a 2013 release. It is described as, "A businessman is caught up in the world of offshore online gaming." Hopefully Timberlake runs up a six figure debt with his credit agent betting 4-teamers at 5Dimes. OK, up next, Mississippi Grind, starting Jake Gyllenhaal and directed by the people who did Half Nelson which was pretty good. Gyllenhaal will play a gambling addict barnstorming through the South looking for one last score. Our level of excitement is a lukewarm 5.2/10.
