British betting exchange Betfair just announced it was the victim of a
massive cyber attack last year. Based on the recommendation from the UK Serious Organised Crime Agency, customers
were not notified about the breach. The incident took place just a week before the company sets it flotation price on the London Stock Exchange.
Betfair was been in the news a lot lately and unfortunately not all of it has been positive. One high-stakes gambler said the
company was in "shambles" after experiencing
account issues and server crashes. And CEO David YU and Chairman Ed Wray announced they were
leaving the company.
