Another book on the Tim Donaghy scandal is set to hit shelves this April.
Gaming the Game is the story about the actual bettors who were associated with Donaghy and placed the bets. James "Baba" Battista was considered by most to be the
ringleader of the operation. Author Sean Patrick Griffin paid Battista for his “exclusive collaboration”.
"Bookmakers knew something was going on," says Battista, in his book. "These were the most respected bookmakers in the world. They didn't cheat on the numbers, and they were very good at what they did. The lines were moving so much, and wasn't like there were injuries or anything else that could account for the big line moves."
