College Basketball Gambling: Manhattan biding its time until healthy

12.04.2015     08:22 AM     Printer Friendly blog entry.
Really good article on the current state of Manhattan who without its full compliment of players is off to a 1-3 start with all three losses by double-digits. The Jaspers have been one of the stronger programs in the MAAC under head coach Steve Masiello who believes his team will eventually get back to playing at a high level. In the meantime, Masiello was very candid about saying that opposing teams should enjoy beating the Jaspers while they can. Manhattan is currently a +10 underdog for tonight's conference opener at Siena.

“Let everyone enjoy this now because when we get healthy, I think it’ll be different,” he said. “Everyone should enjoy this now. We’ve been on a nice run [with back-to-back Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championships] the last couple of years in the metropolitan area, so everyone should enjoy beating us right now.

“If it was the other way around, I’d enjoy it and I would take it to a team. I’m not looking for any mercy or pity. What I am going to say, though, is when we get our nine or 10 [players back], I think we’ll be the Manhattan that we’re supposed to be. That’s something I’m confident in.”

OTTO Sports has always had a good read on the NBA with 58% winners dating back to 2014 and a red hot current run of 11-3 79% including three straight 20* winners. For Monday he checks in with a 2-unit selection on the Oklahoma City vs. Los Angeles game on TNT. Pick up this 20* for only $29. It must cash or his next top rated hoops play is on the house.

Unfortunately, Teddy suffered through a particularly lousy week last week, and he is not happy about it one bit. There's one proven strategy for a veteran capper going through a rough stretch -- work even harder, and isolate one single Best Bet to get back on track. This is that Best Bet for Monday, an NBA on TNT winner primed to be a Slumpbuster! This play must win or his next report is FREE.
