Special teams concerns for Georgia as the kickoff unit ranks
108th nationally at over 25 yards per return allowed. Last week, Florida speedster Jeff Demps took one back 99 yards. New Mexico State could certainly take advantage this week and help to cover the big number. The Aggies are one of only eight teams with two kickoff return touchdowns on the season courtesy of Taveon Rogers (27.5 yards per return). NMSU is much improved over previous editions and not expected to receive much attention after Georgia beating Florida last week.
Also note that the
Bulldogs suspended three running backs earlier today. Isaiah Crowell, Carlton Thomas and Ken Malcome will all sit on Saturday after breaking unspecified team rules.
