for Saturday's matchup against Michigan State. This Chippewas pulled off the upset in East Lansing back in 2009 but last year's meeting was all Spartans as the cruised to a 45-7 win as 21.5-point chalk. It's an awful spot for MSU after beating Boise State to open the year with Notre Dame on deck.
“There is a lot of excitement from our fan base,” Central Michigan coach Dan Enos said. “I’m very familiar with their program. … It’s going to be a big challenge. There is a lot of excitement on campus. Someone told me it’s the biggest event on campus, maybe ever.”
“Everyone is excited,” Enos said. “Then I watched the video, and I’m not quite as excited. (Michigan State is) good on both sides of the ball. They’re dominant on defense.”
