With Houston already 20 games over .500, it was unrealistic to think the Los Angeles Angels were going to make much of any noise in the AL West despite currently being tied for second place. But with reports saying Mike Trout could be out for 6-8 weeks
with a thumb injury AND a brutal scheduling stretch upcoming, the Angels are primed for a hard fall. Up until this point, LA has enjoyed a fairly favorable schedule. They've faced 12 teams and all but Houston and Tampa Bay are currently above .500. That's about to change with 16 games (11 on the road) against the Astros, Yankees, Red Sox and Dodgers over the next month.
