"From a statistical standpoint, there is an advantage, given our players and how they play. Where we're moving it in we'll get a slight advantage hitting versus pitching," Samson said. "It'll be interesting to see what it means psychologically. That's the one thing we can't measure.
"There are some players who say, 'When it plays smaller I feel better about myself.'"
