"As I shared with them, simple basketball. I can't coach running the floor hard," Smart said. "I can't coach getting back and protecting the paint.
"That's what they have to do when they're on the floor. When they don't do that, we have to make the adjustments from there."
"We've got to get in great shape," Smart said. "We're not in great shape. We've got to get in great shape to be able to change ends both ways, running out on the break and also getting back on defense."
