NBA Gambling Notes: Sacramento Kings at Toronto Raptors

SportsMemo.com blog entry.
Sacramento at Toronto -5 O/U 189

Toronto will play the third game of a back-to-back-to-back tonight after losing to previously winless Washington, 93-78, on Tuesday. Sacramento has yet to win a road game and interim head coach Keith Smart is trying to keep thing simple by just asking for a little more hustle.

"As I shared with them, simple basketball. I can't coach running the floor hard," Smart said. "I can't coach getting back and protecting the paint.

"That's what they have to do when they're on the floor. When they don't do that, we have to make the adjustments from there."

"We've got to get in great shape," Smart said. "We're not in great shape. We've got to get in great shape to be able to change ends both ways, running out on the break and also getting back on defense."

"Our disposition wasn't good coming out of the locker room to begin the game," said Raptors head coach Dwane Casey, whose team must now play its third game in as many days.

"You start turning the ball over and you can't recover from that and you can't get set up in your defence."
