Some news and notes I picked up for tomorrow’s
Quicken Loans Carrier Classic between Michigan State and North Carolina. Scheduled tip-off is 4 pm PT. The game is slated to be played outdoors aboard the USS Carl Vinson in San Diego -- note potential winds up to 12mph! Also interested to see if the rims are tight. There is a chance of rain, of which the game will moved to the hangar bay -- a gigantic space below the flight deck where helicopters and planes are usually stored. Expecting to see lines posted later this afternoon with the Tar Heels projected as a 9-point favorite.
