Stanford -10 at Arizona
Arizona entered the season with a completely new offensive line and the inexperience showed in the Wildcats' first two games. Arizona has committed the most penalties of any team in the country (21) and based on the play-by-play it appears as many as 11 were committed by the offensive line with seven false starts and four holdings – obviously other players could have committed some of those infractions. Quarterback Nick Foles was sacked only twice in the two games but the run-game produced only 116 yards on 2.83 yards per carry. The offensive line will face a very stiff test against Stanford this weekend. The Cardinal defensive front manhandled Duke last weekend with six sacks while allowing only 27 yards rushing. Off of two nearly perfect games, it looks tempting to fade Stanford and fire away with Arizona as a 10-point home dog but the Cardinal project to have a big fundamental advantage in the trenches.
