Typically don't want to overreact to running back injuries but a fairly significant one as ACC Preseason Player of the Year Montel Harris (3,600 career yards) will
miss 3-4 weeks after undergoing knee surgery yesterday. Harris had been practicing but said is knee didn't feel right and noticed swelling.
Boston College does have a capable back-up in Andre Williams who as a freshman ran for 461 yards (4.85 ypc) and two touchdowns.
“I was very concerned about Montel in January. And I was very concerned about him in spring ball. I was feeling a little bit better when he was feeling better and I was telling you guys he looked like his old self. Now I’m very concerned again. And I feel bad for him, because he’s concerned, obviously,” said Spaziani.
