St. Louis at Winnipeg -110 O/U 5
It's a Central Division clash in the Great White North tonight as the Winnipeg Jets host the St. Louis Blues. Winnipeg has won four of their last seven games thanks in part to the stellar play between the pipes from rookie goaltender Connor Hellebuyck. He’s won four of his first five starts for the Jets since his recall on November 22nd in absence of Ondrej Pavelec, who is out with a knee injury. St. Louis has been slipping as of late, losing six of their last nine games overall. Vladimir Tarasenko has been the only skater pulling his weight on the score-sheet with five goals in his last 10 games. The goalie tandem of Jake Allen and Brian Elliott is once again looking shaky with Allen losing five of his last nine starts and Elliott dropping his last three outings overall. The Blues took the first two meetings in this season series by close scores of 3-2 and 4-2 but with the Jets having the edge not just in net, but also up front with balanced scoring from forwards Mark Scheifele, Andrew Ladd, and defenseman Dustin Byfuglien I think they’re in a great spot to pick up two points in an important division game. We’ve seen a steady flow of money on Jets since the opener. I agree with the move and recommend a play on the home side.
