Umm, after watching the trailer for the upcoming movie Lay the Favorite – which is supposed to be centered around sports betting – our excitement level is currently hovering around that of a mid-August, Carlos Marmol-less game between the Cubs and Astros. IMDB has a pretty good reputation for spotting out what is good, watchable, and downright awful. Accounting for all of the biased votes (there have only been 122) from those closely associated with the studio/movie – and all of those HUGE Joshua Jackson fans! – the fact that it currently holds a 6/10 doesn’t look too promising. Hell, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry netted the same score.
