Vancouver done in by 8-seed LA
NY Rangers on verge of a potential series loss to 8-seed Ottawa
And good news for Senators too:
Alfredsson, who missed the past three games of the series with a concussion, confirmed he will play Monday night at Scotiabank Place.
"I'm playing," he said after taking part in the team's morning skate.
Although he suffered a setback prior to Game 3, Alfredsson said he has made improvements each day since resuming light activity on Friday.
"I feel physically fine to be able to handle the physical play in the game tonight," he said.
With the Senators leading the series 3-2 and a having chance to close it out at home, the team is eager to welcome the 39-year-old veteran back. Alfredsson finished the regular season with 27 goals and 32 assists.

I've been on the Kings since before the playoffs began. I actually have a small play on the Kings to win the West. So far in my opinon DEFENSE and GOALTENDERS has dominated the playoffs (Kings, Blues, Caps, Coyotes, Preds, Panthers.) With 3 of these series still to be decided we will see if Holtby, Smith and Theodore can be the difference.
I did however make a small play on the Rangers to win in 7 despite Alfredssons return.
