I believe that unassisted Triple Play is the rarest event and hitting for the cycle is the most common

With more consideration, 20+ strikeouts might be up there too, hmmm...But I'm thinking it's either unassisted triple play or 20+ strikeout game for sure.

Strike out the side on 9 pitches has to be pretty rare. That and 4 strikeouts in an inning. Throwing a no-hitter and losing. A 1, 2, 3 inning by Carlos Marmol.

I will NEVER forget the night I saw the Master Gred Maddux while a member of the Braves throw 3 (THREE) pitches in an inning at Chevez Ravine on a ESPN Wednesday night baseball telecast. I could not believe the third batter swung at the 1st pitch and popped it out.

Interesting, I would of wagered a decent amount that 20+ strikeouts had happened more than 5 times. My guess was the unassisted triple play.
