I'm not a soccer fan and probably dislike the sport more than I like it but I've been tailing Marty's picks so far in this Euro 2012 tournament since he started posting them because to be honest Euro and World Cup is probably the only times I'll ever bet on soccer and yeah it hasn't gone well for u so far Marty but if anything it just goes to show how difficult soccer is for betting and a lot of people that are the biggest soccer fans and bettors in the world have said that to me in the past that soccer is not really an easy sport to beat.
Now I KNOW Marty has more soccer knowledge and passion in his pinky finger than I do in my entire body. That's a fact yet he just hasn't gotten any breaks so far. I hope you are keeping a positive outlook because it will turn for you very soon Marty.

Huge market, not easy to beat. Much like any other though, if you're dialed in you can win. I haven't been getting the Ws so far but that's the way it goes sometimes. The encouraging part despite the results is that I've been beating the market lines which suggests that, yes, hopefully it should turn around.
Notes:
Might add some sort of play on England or the draw. As much as I think they are an overvalued commodity in this tournament and as much as I thought Sweden might be a sleeper in this tournament, a funny thing happened...
England generally was pleased with the draw they picked up in the first match with toughest group opponent France. The mood in the locker room is positive and confident.
Sweden was completely embarrassed by Ukraine. Their Prime Minister called them out, their coach called them cowards, their captain laid into his teammates publicly. It's a mess right now and you have to wonder where their heads are ahead of the game.
Pending:
Portugal Under 3.5 total points in group stage
Not going to get off this bet. I like the Netherlands lineup today, should be loose despite needing to win by 2. Really they have nothing to lose and the attacking nature of this lineup can finally flourish. Anybody telling you they are dead in the water is nuts, this team has created more chances than any in the tournament, should they finish they'll win. Now, whether they qualify for the next round (needing a two goal win and a Germany win) is a difficult question. Still, they have the ability to win this game against an overrated Portugal side.
Rooney is back for England today. No doubt he's the best player they've got and was suspended for the first two matches for a stupid red card he picked up during qualifying. His inclusion, though, could mess up what was a pretty solid team dynamic in attack last game.
Sounds like Sheva is going to be out for Ukraine which is bad bad news. He's the heart and soul of that team and single handed won them their first match.
No play from the start but will watch game flow and if a live opportunity pops up I'll post it.
Never could find a good price or time to get in anything on the England match.
We start the knockout round today and I'll admit I was wrong about Portugal to start this tournament. They've impressed me with their play to this point and I think they have the pieces to break down the Czech Republic today.
What I've seen from the aging Czechs so far that should be a major concern is their lack of speed. Go back and look at the thrashing they received from Russia in the group stage and you'll see the Russians ran them ragged from the outside in. With Ronaldo and Nani manning the flanks you've got two of the fastest and technically sound guys in the tournament. This, frankly, is a terrible matchup for the Czech Republic.
Throw in the injury to Tomas Rosicky and you lose a little offensively as well for the Czechs. His creative influence and calmness on the ball allows others to flourish. We saw this team really struggle to break down a poor defensive Poland side last game and Portugal's propensity to apply higher pressure deeper up the field will make it difficult for Rosicky's replacement to have time on the ball.
