We've seen a major salary dump from the Hawks that could end up paying big dividends down the road if you believe some of the theories (bringing in Dwight Howard and CP3 to partner with Josh Smith).
Of course the Hawks sent Joe Johnson to the Nets where, coincidentally, Dwight Howard has been heavily linked. That addition would mean Derron Williams, Joe Johnson and Howard form a core in what should be an exciting debut season in Brooklyn (terrible logo notwithstanding).
Don't forget about the Rockets either! There are grumbles out there that they could basically offer up any/all of their six 1st rd picks they've drafted the past three years, plus their starting back court from last season for some sort of Howard deal.
Brandon Roy and his balky knees are going to attempt a comeback.
Ray Allen could be taking his talents to South Beach.
Roy Hibbert has been offered not one but apparently two max contracts. One of which is in Portland.

I like to see all the movement and I want more. The Nets are going the way of the Mavericks when Cuban first took over. He figured out that was a flawed strategy.

ESPN's latest update on Howard saga... it's crazy wrapping your head around one of these mega deals.
"According to sources the Nets would receive Howard, Jason Richardson, Chris Duhon and Earl Clark in the proposed deal. The Magic would get Brook Lopez, Luke Walton, Damion James, Shelden Williams, Armon Johnson and three first-round picks -- two from the Nets and a lottery-protected first from the Clippers. The Cavs would get Kris Humphries, Quentin Richardson, Sundiata Gaines, a first-round pick from the Nets and $3 million in cash. The Clippers would receive MarShon Brooks.
The deal also could involve the Charlotte Bobcats replacing the Cavaliers, league sources told ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher.
Further hurdles exist in that Lopez, Humphries, James, Williams, Johnson and Gaines would all have to agree to sign-and-trades to move them.
Sources told ESPN.com that the complicated deal was getting "close."

So he wants out of Orlando because he is unhappy with the talent around him, so why is it Houston thinks he will want to stay there?
