GarvyMD,
Very nice offer. Really strong.
However for a numerous reasons we wouldn't want to turn the contest into an e-mail thing. We want to have the contest to bring people to the site.
There are also several other issues that come up with e-mail that we'd like to avoid.
Our Sports Memo crew technical staff will have something in place over the last couple of weeks of the contest to avoid the copy cat posting and the "cheating" for those in contention for the top prizes.
Again thanks for the generous offer and we look forward to a huge 2005 season.

I think we should e-mail our weekly pick to VegasVic and then he can post the picks after each weekly deadline. This way we can avoid copycat picking especially near the end of the contest.

In the past I hope the contest really acted as helpful tool for all that participated, (and additionally for those that just simply watched from the sidelines). After all that’s what this web site and posting forum should be all about. Helping us all win at sports gambling.
Personally I would take into consideration the choices of others for my own wagers. Particularly from the more successful handicappers and the ones that included some sort of analysis to why they selected their one selection. With such an plethora of games each week to look at sometimes gems could be found only because of seeing a game from someone else’s point of view.
Even though there is more at stake than just bragging rights to the challenge this year I would hope that wont interfere with the benefit that it can provide. Learning from each other and sharing our picks is still the primary reason behind having this contest. I want the picks to be made public. As I said before the earlier your selection is made available, (even days before game time), the better. In that way we have a chance to decide if it is a play that we would be interested in investing in as well and knowing the sport book in which you found the best number at.
I thank you for your generous offer garveymd but lets keep this contest in the same spirit as the first two. Posters helping posters and hoping everyone goes a perfect 17-0.
