New York / Chivas USA OVER 2 and 2.5 (-109) ½-UNIT
I only bet two games over all season and both games involved the Red Bull. As luck would have it both times the leagues highest scoring team was shut out. Since week 9 the Red Bulls have been averaging close to 2 goals per game and despite adding the MLS first DP ever Frank Rost at the keeper position most of these goals allowed were not just the fault of the keeper but breakdowns in the entire defensive unit.
Philadelphia / New England UNDER 2.5 (-113)
Sometimes I just don’t understand how they come up with these totals. Sure these teams played a couple of high scoring games the last few weeks but over all these teams are not that high scoring. The Revolution are last in the league when it comes to scoring and the Union have one of the leagues better defenses. The Revolution defense is respectable and the Union is not that great of a goal scoring team. Only 4 times out of 18 games have they scored more than one goal and the Revolution on the other hand have scored more than one goal 3 times out of 18 games.
Kansas City +0 and +0.5 (-105) ½-UNIT
Why not get behind the hottest team in the MLS, now unbeaten in 10 in a row. Houston on the other hand has been nothing special over the last 12 games putting up a 2-5-5 record and one of those two wins was last week against Toronto who everyone whips up on.
