Hopefully this isn't how his career will end. He's been shagging balls in the outfield during BP for 18 years. I'd hate for a legend like this to go out with an injury like that.

Robertson has pitched great for the Yankees the past two seasons, but the comments he made have me wondering if he believes he can close at this point in his career. I think he can and is capable, but if he doesn't believe then there may be some problems.
This could be one interesting situation. We've seen so many highly touted and top notch free agent arms fail pitching for the Yankees over the years. This is one instance where I am not going to put too much stake in his comments. I feel like he is covering himself slightly, because what else do you do when you are asked to fill in for the single greatest situational player at his position ever? The simple fact is the guy has sick stuff. I won't be surprised to see him K'ing batters in many a 9th inning for the Yanks this season.
Gotta hope Mariano is as miraculous at healing as he is at saving baseball games because you never wanna see a legend go out like that.
No save opportunities this first weekend. A couple of Yankee wins by four and six bookended a four run loss on Saturday. Robertson did pitch the 9th of Friday's game with New York up four.
