Verlander has been well Verlander in his last 3 and overall last 3 on the road 23 ip 20br 6er 24/3 k/bb ratio overall 5-1 road record with 2.76 era 1.12 whip. More importantly he is passing the verlander eye test not just numbers
Tonight we get a discount on verlander due to David Price who has top level numbers but man at times he just seems to not have it at all. I in his last 3 home starts he should have gotten beatup moer aginast the Mets but slithered out of trouble. Overall last 3 at the spaceship in tampa he is 19.1 27br 9er and defiantely not passing the test from these eyes.

Game 2 I am going against all over baseball's sweethart R. A. Dickey who is having an unbeleiveable run lately. In boston I have seen runs not as good but close from Tim Wakefield and well then there is a run of stinkers to follow. Not sure that will happen but he was roughed up vs. the Yanks in his last start sunday night. Numbers for Dickey insane regardless how much you want to slant them. 23.1 12 1 31/2 in his last 3 road.
This is more of a play on former Reds Ace Aaron Harang who has been solid this season. Harang over his last 3 starts 20ip 23er 2er at home in la's spacious ballpark.
Mets bullpen injuires have added up and there 3 best relivers worked in last nights game. Not anyone of them I am sold on including parnell. The Dodgers are not even a good offensive team scoring 0 0 2 recently but I think can get a few tonight an support Harang.

A few options I was playing around with Chisox +115 on the 5 inning quintana pitching well vs. a medicore rookie. Phiilies and Lee -105 and if you can get 4 or maybe 3.5 on the 5 inning under for the Mets/LAD
