Show off your football handicapping skills for a chance to win some great prizes. This is a four week shootout paying out the top three spots. Simply post your plays in the official thread each day along with the sportsbook you got the line from. Keep your own records and make sure to post your previous plays at the bottom of your thread. This contest will be self policed by the entrants. Any funny business should be alerted to Sportsmemo by email.
Contest begins with the HOF game on August 5th
Rules and Procedures
1). Post your official selections in the sticky contest thread each day. Sides and full game totals only.
2). You must have at least 12 plays for the record at the end of the preseason to qualify for the prize. Hint: Use games with ½ point lines as ties will not count toward your final tally.
3). You must make at least three (3) substantive posts per week in the forum. One easy way to do this is simply a quick hitter thread of analysis as to why you’re playing your side/total in the contest that day. Or perhaps some pertinent injury updates or QB rotation news. It’s up to you, just use common sense and good judgment here. As we like to say “Nobody wants I’monitguy in this forum”. You must have at least 12 posts by the end to qualify. Shotgunning crap threads is a no-no.
The top three winning percentages will earn prizes. If eligibility requirements are not met that prize will be forfeited.
1st Place: One month of service from the Sportsmemo handicapper of your choice in hoops, hockey, football or baseball. Plus one month of Professional live odds service from SportsOptions.
2nd Place: One week of service from the Sportsmemo handicapper of your choice in hoops, hockey, football or baseball.
3rd Place: One free 20* best bet from the Sportsmemo handicapper of your choice in hoops, hockey, football or baseball.
