You guys are supposed to be experts. Yet, Ian Cameron handicaps the Indiana game, and goes on about QB Robertson. He broke his leg last week, and has been listed as out for the year since 9/09. And Andrew did not call him on it. How can we trust what you guys say, when you miss a major injury for a Big 10 team?
By the way-- I enjoy your podcasts.

Yeah that's what you call my version of a "rookie mistake". I threw the football and it got picked off. I had a Brandon Weeden kind of performance in that Ball State-Indiana breakdown yesterday on the show.
But ur absolutely right Tre Roberson is out for the season with that broken leg. The sophomore Cameron Coffman is expected to take over under center. Coffman went 16/22 for 159 passing yards last week but remember it was against UMass who have now been destroyed by a pair of FBS teams UConn and Indiana.
How I didn't mention that is puzzling considering I had an asterisk symbol beside Tre Roberson's name in my notes for this game on the podcast yesterday which is the injury indicator that I use and I just glossed right over it. My apologies on that one.
I wanted more than +3 here with Ball State because If I had gotten it, I might have been on them this week but I still have no interest whatsoever to lay any points with Indiana here especially with Ball State having won last year against the Hoosiers and now starting their backup QB this week.

IU does love the more pocket passing Cam Coffman but they definitely lose the running dimension of Roberson.

I may of mentioned Drew Brees' knee being banged up when analyzing the Eastern Michigan-Purdue game. Shit happens.

Yes, it's a bad mistake. I'm sure Ian feels bad about it... However, for zero radio experience he's done a fantastic job!!! Very good info... It's tough, and even more so this time of year. There's a million things going through my head when I'm doing the podcast, and I always regret leaving stuff/info out... It's really easy for me to forget stuff, and I've been doing the radio for almost 10 years. I can't remember names for anything during the podcast let along pronounce them right! But I like doing everything off the cuff, giving an instinct of what I like, and generally thinking about a game for the third, fourth and fifth time.

Wow this thread has taken off! LOL. I appreciate the support for me from all of you but I didn't take one bit of offense to any of it. The way I see it...hey if I screw up in the future on the podcast, don't hesitate to mention it. I'm serious. I'm a big boy and I can handle it and we do need to be giving you accurate, relevant info on the podcast to all the bettors out there otherwise what's the point of tuning in. I don't mind my mistake being mentioned in the forum like it was today especially if it's an information based mistake that I make so that I can confirm or deny it and give the correct info to all of our listeners.
As for ER mispronouncing the two Boston College names, when I heard it I didn't say "geez what a brutal mistake ER". No. I actually loved it and got a chuckle out of it. Nothing wrong with that. You probably all knew who he was talking about anyway. I'll tell you this Luke Kuechly sure as hell doesn't look like it's called "KEEK-LY" when you see the name spelled that way! That is a legitimate tough name to wrap your tongue around. Teddy's had trouble with that name too and I'm sure a lot of people in the country have. I know I did when I first saw him play at BC.
You want someone that really butchers a ton of people's names...watch Don Cherry during Hockey Night In Canada when it's NHL Hockey season. None of the Sportsmemo crew myself included have anything on him in the name butchering department.
Bottom line is there will be the odd mistake and mispronunciation on the podcast but we at Sportsmemo still OWN the sports betting world when it comes to providing a daily show with quality info and all of it being from a betting perspective and that's not me saying that just because I joined the crew in August. I listened to the show for years before that going back to the Tim Trushel era and it's the best daily sports betting program that a sports bettor can get!
