Surprise inactive for Cardinals: starting strong safety Adrian Wilson is out due to injury. Rashad Johnson starts in his place.

Very easy to overreact to a bad loss to Arizona, but again, the NFL is the last league where I want to rush to judgement after week three, or even week 8. It's easy to forget that at 14-0 down, the Eagles had the ball inside the Arizona 10 yard line pushing to make it a 14-7 game going into halftime. Instead, the catastrophic sack-fumble-93 yard TD makes it a 21-0 game and that's really all she wrote. Coming into the game, this was the #1 offense in the NFL, and there is no reason not to believe it has the ability to possess that type of potency moving forward. But the Eagles had entirely the wrong game plan in Arizona. Removing a key possession receiver in Maclin really hampered Vick's ability to get rid of the ball as was evidence by the huge hits he took on a consistent basis after dancing around in the pocket. LeSean McCoy was completely underutilized- Andy Reid maybe said it best:
"In hindsight," Reid said after the game, "it would have been OK to run the ball a little more."
No shit Big Red, no shit.

It's ridiculous, same thing in Browns game. Same thing for his whole coaching tenure in Philly.

Tarheel- I'm going out on a limb here and guessing you're a Philly fan. I left my fan cap at the door 7 years ago when I started wagering. Would I like to see the Vikes, Timberwolves, Gophers, Wild, do something worth a shit? Sure. Is it likely, no. When people tell me how shitty those teams are I just nod my head in agreement. I'm not one of these bandwagon mutherfuckers drinking the Vikings juice because they beat the 49ers. Every week is different, I get it. Still baffles me that the Niners threw almost zero blitzes at Ponder and when they decided to, in the 4th quarter, it was pretty successful. Wasn't trying to bash the Eagles. They just seem to do the same shit every season. All hype, no championship. Down 10 in the Superbowl with 3 minutes to go? Fuck it, let's take our sweet ass time getting to the line. I think the coach is getting a little long in the tooth and a change would do that franchise good. So much talent there, they just can't pull their heads outta their asses and see the light....

Absolutely nothing. Although from a half glass full perspective (Let's stay positive here people, LOL) we have not seen this offense play anywhere near their potential. So with the addition of Maclin (monitoring the health closely), and a commitment to utilizing LeSean McCoy to alleviate some of the aggressiveness of the pass rush, could be some real buyback value on the total vs. Giants.
