Wondering what you guys think about this one. Not out yet but I'm thinking there could be some high scoring here. Is the Purdue offense improved or is this really just a more favorable schedule for the boilermakers? Total opens in the low to mid 50's or am I way off?
I'm a bit hesitant to endorse Purdue offensively just yet, considering they racked up all of their numbers against Marshall, Eastern Michigan, & Eastern Kentucky - tough to find 3 worse defenses than them. The one quality stop unit they did face - Notre Dame - they did very little. Good test for them this week. Michigan is by no means great defensively, but they are far superior to anything Purdue has seen thus far (excluding ND). I'll be on the sidelines for this one but will be tuned in to see how Purdue handles Michigan on both sides of the ball. We will learn a lot this week.
