Small trend I've used the last two weeks: play against Oregon in the first half and play on (with a better adjusted line) in the second half. Part of the thought process is that teams are energized early, play smarter, don’t panic, and look to score any points rather than the running around with their heads cut off, touchdown-only philosophy we often see in the second half when the Ducks create sizable leads. It is funny to watch teams start acting crazy when Oregon opens up second half with a 5 play, 80-yard TD drive. We could very well see that here. Colorado is banged up and no good but at home, I think we'll get a little better performance than what we saw on the highway the last two weeks. I took at shot +17 with the Buffs 1st half.

Noticed a pretty big push in the market with Navy money rolling in this morning. Now up to 12.5. Not just the side but the total getting some love to the over as well.

Money fading are pal 'The Zooker' for third straight week and Illinois... Opened 17 closed 14 at Indy, opened 6.5 closed 3.5 last week against Ohio St... Finally, this week opened 6.5 over Purdue closed 3...

I simply stayed away from the Illinois game today. They are the better team and should have their way defensively against this Purdue offense. But I really just wanted to see how they respond to that debacle last week... was it a season crusher?

Little late to the party here but noticed in recap that no one took Louisville under the total last night. The Cards now 0-5-1. I've been blindly playing Louisville and Kentucky under this year.

I thought long and hard about that one billy just got scared off with such a low number for a college game. Great hit on it by you and hope those continue to pay off moving forward.

Purdue looking like different team the last 2 weeks... Even in loss they controlled line of scrimmage last week against Penn St, and same again early against Illini... 128-26 yards early with the ball...

KU killing themselves right now with penalties...returned the kickoff 72 yards after KSU's touchdown only to have it called all the way back to their own 11 for a block in the back and then got some breathing room with a first down and got flagged for a personal foul back to their 5...had to punt and K-State is set up with a short field on the Jayhawks 35 yard line

Pead has really impressed me throughout his career at Cincinnati. Not just a system back in my eyes. He's got good speed but a little light in the strength department. Still he's a guy many teams would look to for a change of pace back in the 3rd or so I would think.

Personally, I have a very hard time playing NCAA totals Under 45 or so, even when two defensive teams collide like we saw last night. Two frosh QB's threw twice as many INT's as TD's -- pick six was very 'live' in that game, even though it never happened. Three missed field goals too....

Kansas State 13-1 ATS in Bill Snyder's last 14 games as head coach against the in-state rival Jayhawks; covering those pointspreads by an AVERAGE of more than ten points per game. Wildcats already up 14-0....

Arkansas apparently forgot they had an early game to show up for. Way too early to say but perhaps a 2H brewing for the Hogs.
