Appreciate any latest update on Roethisberger's status tonight. Currently, 49ers are 3-point favorites! All I know so far is 49ers NEED this game for a first-round bye in the NFC playoffs.

Don't the Steelers NEED the game just as badly? Didn't Tenn, Jets, Gmen, Balt need their games yesterday? Need more of an angle than that to play on SF as far as I'm concerned.

agree wolf, all teams this time of year NEED a win, either to save a coach's job or if it's a new coach already, to save player's jobs for next season. and there are still plenty of room for every NFL team to move up in the standings/seedings. all four AFC West, NFC East teams in hunt for division, wildcard berths still up for grabs, every confirmed playoff team has to play for seedings still. this is another year anyone can win the super bowl again!

Personally, I'd be completely shocked to not see Big Ben tonight. If he had any doubts about playing, last night's Ravens loss most certainly erased them.

the extra 3 days off was huge too. but Ben is a GAMER, hard to keep him out with an ankle injury, heck he plays with broken bones! ultimate throwback qb

Looks like Ben will play tonight from what I see.....

Best of luck however you decide to play this game.
