Little more than four years ago, Colin Kaepernick and Robert Griffin III were two of the hottest quarterbacks in the NFL. Now, theyre unemployed.

They wont be for long, if they decide to play in Canada.

Via Kevin Seifert of, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats have added both players to their exclusive negotiating list. This gives the Tiger-Cats dibs on both players, if/when they decide to continue their careers north of the border.

Kaepernick and Griffin join Johnny Manziel on the Tiger-Cats negotiating list. ats-on-rights-to-kaepernick-griffin/

Any move north of the border for either RG III or Colin Kaepernick is a long way from happening if it does at all. I don't anticipate either one of them completely exhausting their NFL hopes until they reach the absolute bitter end of the road.

That being said, Vince Young has come to the CFL joining the Saskatchewan Roughriders in an attempt to restart his pro football career and the CFL television deal with the ESPN family of networks over the last 4 years has definitely helped the league gain more of a following and more exposure in the U.S. which has helped attract more former NFL players and College Football players to the league. For that reason, you definitely can't totally rule out the possibility of either one of those QB's coming to the CFL.
