On the podcast , I heard Andrew Lange say Michigan to win the whole thing at +1000 held no value. Today I just seen the line at +1600 on a site. Is this more in line to a good value bet? I really like Michigan Wink Smile Very Happy

Didn't like what I saw out of the Big Ten teams yesterday. I think the layoff hurts. 7.5 looks like a mountain in that first half.

I don't mind Michigan at all. But before you bet +1600 know that they were going to be a 5-6 seed and 25-1ish prior to beating Purdue and Michigan State. And as a rule of thumb, I tend not to put much stock into conference tournament results -- win or loss-- involving teams that were already locks to get into the tournament.

Andrew. Now I know what you're talking about . I've been checking out money lines so far versus Montana -700, Houston -165. I'm assuming they will be a slight underdog the rest of the way. If so, that would be around +1000-+1200 just to win the West!. LOL. Definitely no value cause I took them to win the West at +375 lol highway robbery. Mad Shocked Sad Mad Embarassed Smile

P.S. Don't think Michigan can win anymore games scoring in the 60's.:/

I was able to get Michigan at 40-1 prior to B10 tournament. They finished up the regular season on a run and I was looking for one good big underdog as a fun flyer. The value completely disappeared after the win in the conference tournament.

Looks like the future odds were on point . I took Michigan +375 to win the West. Parlaying all the matchup moneylines -700, -160, -160, -205 comes to around +350 so I don't feel like it was highway robbery anymore Wink Razz
