Not the most confident bet, but I threw a little on the Field at +900 for NBA Rookie of the Year. Ben Simmons is the chalk, so I am basically taking a flyer on Mitchell winning it. Anyone see any potential shockers in the awards this year? Some big prices out there if it happens.

Listening to different personalities that have a vote, it sounds as if Simmons is a lock. Mitchell will get votes, and some people will pass on Simmons because this was really his second year on a team.

Interesting the odds have now fallen to +598 for the field.

Mitchell was great in the playoffs while Simmons was awful. I believe
The voting took place, however, before the playoffs. Maybe opinion was swayed by their playoff performances. Frankly, I don't think Simmons should be considered a rookie.
