It's a busy Thursday night slate in NHL and there are plenty of games with playoff implications.

Here are tonight's playoff clinching scenarios in NHL action with just four days left in the regular season. A friendly reminder to all bettors that 'must win' doesn't equal 'will win' for teams that need victories to either clinch a playoff spot or division title. That is never a situation you should bet blindly... rios-for-april-5/c-297675812

The final playoff spots in both conferences could be clinched today and will be clinched for certain in the Western Conference where the St. Louis Blues and Colorado Avalanche will face off in a winner gets in, loser is out showdown for that 2nd Wildcard playoff spot in the West. Plenty of playoff seeding and positioning still up in the air and that that will be determined today as well.

Here is the updated playoff clinching scenarios for Saturday, April 7th on this final day of the regular season: arios-april-7/c-297755144
