Let's kick off the MLB season with a contest! Note that opening day is Thursday, March 29.

The rules are simple: Pick two teams. The winner is the combined units CLOSEST TO ZERO for the opening month. For example: A contestant chooses Boston and Miami. At the end of April the Red Sox are +2.3 and the Marlins are -1.2. The contestant's tally would be +1.1.

The contest will be graded using Covers' MLB standings. First come first serve on team duos. You can however mix and match; if someone uses Boston and Miami, you can use Boston and Cleveland or Miami and Philadelphia.

ENTRY DEADLINE IS WEDNESDAY, 10 pm PT.

THE WINNER RECEIVES FULL MAY SERVICE (a $299 value) FROM THE HANDICAPPER OF THEIR CHOICE.

Stl (o85.5) and Col (u81.5) are my two selections. Played both their season win totals so here's to hoping they get off to a good start in both areas.

Awesome. So your strategy is a "good" team in St. Louis and a "bad" team in Seattle.
