THE VEGAS SPORTSWIRE RADIO SHOW CONTINUES TO PROVIDE
IN-DEPTH SPORTS COVERAGE AND ANALYSIS FROM A VEGAS PERSPECTIVE UNDER NEW NAME
BRENTWOOD, TN – June 15— The Vegas Sportswire Radio Show aired today under its
new title, The Sports Memo Radio Show, in Las Vegas, Boston, Providence and
world-wide via webcast at sportsmemo.com.
The name change comes at the direction of Tim Trushel, the CEO of Sports Memo and
host of the Sports Memo Radio Show, in an effort to make the company’s identity
clearer.
“Changing the name of the radio show complements the other changes we are making
as a company,” stated Trushel.
“Sports Memo has existed for nearly 13 years, but with the radio show under the
Sportwire name, consumers were not making the connection between the show and
the other components of our company. By unifying our brand name, we hope to make
our listeners more aware of the other products and services available;” commented
Trushel.
Sports Memo’s ultimate goal is to be the definitive resource for sports information,
coverage and analysis from a Vegas perspective across all media.
In addition to the radio show’s name change, Sports Memo is also unveiling a new
website, sportsmemo.com. The website will offer live webcast, subscription services,
sports gaming related articles and features, the Sports Memo Newsletter, and archives
of the radio show.
