Daily MLB Home Run Prop Picks
There are a number of day games today which we’ll stay away from, but there are a few batter/pitcher matchups to take advantage of during the late slate. Sportsmemo content contributor Kyle Kargel provides his home run prop predictions and picks for Wednesday, May 11 with odds provided by FanDuel.
Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Francisco Lindor (+590)
Aaron Sanchez is taking the mound tonight for the Nationals and Mets hitters are salivating because of it. He’s made three starts this season giving up two home runs in total and sports a lowly 8.56 ERA.
Sure we could take the safer route and take a shot on Pete Alonso tonight, but let’s get some better odds and roll with Francisco Lindor at +590.
He’s currently on a 4-game hitting streak with five home runs on the season. He hasn’t been great this month so far hitting only .162 making this the perfect bounce back spot for him to smash one out.
He’s a switch hitter, but four of his five home runs have come against right handed starters. It helps too that Lindor is 4-6 in his career against Sanchez although none of those have been home runs.
Home Run Prop Prediction 2: Alex Bregman (+410)
Alex Bregman and the Astros have been hot as of late winning 8-straight games and they’ll look to continue that trend tonight facing Chris Archer and the Twins again tonight. Bregman is 1-4 in his career against Archer with that hit being a home run.
Archer sports a nice 3.26 ERA but has allowed five home runs in his last four starts including two in his last start against the Orioles.
You could roll with any Astros bat to hit one out tonight but with odds considered we have pretty good value with Bregman sitting at +410 as he just hit one out against the Tigers two games ago as well.
