I'm convinced Pitt shouldn't be laying points even at home to any decent or good team right now and Montana out of the Big Sky is not going to be any sort of pushover for the Panthers tonight. Pittsburgh dropped their season opener to Navy by double digits on Friday night and things look very bleak for Kevin Stallings and this Pitt basketball program this season. Pitt got crushed on the glass, struggled defensively and their offense simply didn't click at any point plus they only connected at 55% from the free throw line. That is a bad combination of issues against a Montana Grizzlies squad that returns a very strong backcourt led by Ahmaad Rorie and Michael Oguine while up front this Grizzlies team possesses more size and strength in the paint thanks to the addition of transfer Jamar Akoh. Pittsburgh is a clear fade team for me right now especially as favorites. It's certainly worth noting this is a Pitt team that lost in non-conference play to Duquesne last season and barely escaped past Eastern Michigan in OT. Pitt is on a money burning 0-6 ATS slide in their last 6 games dating back to last season and that is a track record worth once again betting against tonight.
