NHL: 10* Ottawa Over 6 -120 (3)
Tampa Bay has been an Over train for the better part of the last several weeks. Tampa Bay has had only 3 games with fewer than 6 total goals scored since the start of February over a span of their last 19 games and the Over is 15-3-1 in their games during that time. All three previous meetings between Ottawa and Tampa Bay this season had 7+ goals scored with 4-3, 4-3 and 6-3 final scores. Andrei Vasilevskiy has been a bit more human in between the pipes lately for Tampa Bay even though he is still enjoying an overall stellar season. Vasilevskiy has yielded 3+ goals in five of his last six starts as fatigue and a heavy workload this season might be starting to get to him just a bit and it's worth noting he allowed 6 goals in his most recent start against Ottawa earlier this season. Mike Condon with his 3.19 GAA gets the nod in net for Ottawa and he is likely to struggle to contain this potent Lightning offense along with his Sens teammates who have surrendered 3+ goals in 7 of their last 10 games. The last time Tampa Bay played Ottawa the game went Over the total with a 4-3 score and Ottawa was playing on the second night of B2B games that night just as they are here after taking on the Florida Panthers last night. I expect Tampa Bay to score 4+ goals here while Ottawa gets at least a couple of their own to help send this game Over the total.
I submitted a half unit NHL free play write-up betting recommendation for the Sportsmemo blog on Winnipeg/Nashville Over 5.5 or 6 (8) depending on which book you bet it at.
