The Western Michigan Broncos and the Northern Illinois Huskies face off tonight and these are two teams that are going in different directions over the last month of the season. Western Michigan has won three games in a row, while Northen Illinois has lost two of their last three games. I expect a decisive road win from Western Michigan in this one. Keep in mind this game for Western Michigan is huge. A win puts them in the top spot in the MAC West and a spot in the MAC title game at Ford Field, while Northern Illinois has absolutely ZERO to play for.
The Broncos offense is averaging 40 points a/game. The Huskies, on the other hand, can't defend anything. This is ideal for the Broncos who feature a running game that is averaging 217 yards per game. They also dominate in the first half of games. Given what's at stake in this game for Western Michigan, you can expect them to come out firing.

The Broncos are averaging 17.4 points in the first half of games, which ranks them 27th in the FBS. Northern Illinois has not been able to break through early in games. They are only averaging 11.1 points in the first half, putting them 103rd overall.

If that wasn't enough, keep in mind that Northen Illinois's starting QB Ross Bowers is not playing due to a concussion. Northern Illinois hasn’t generated any significant offense recently, averaging just 19.3 points in their last three games.

Lay the points and expect Western Michigan to heading into halftime with a nice lead and expect them to win this game by double digits.
