So we have two teams that have been scoring points at a crazy clip this year. Even thought Lamar Jackson won't be on the field for Louisville today, that doesn't mean they won't be ready to score points. In fact, points will be needed in order to beat the Kentucky Wildcats today.

So Louisville's defense is terrible, to the extent that it surrendered 52 points to Miami (FL) earlier this month. UK lost their starting QB earlier this year and inserted a true WR at the position. Lynn Bowden Jr. has come in and rushed for 852 yards over the past six games for UK.

Louisville is 13-27 ATS in its last 40 overall, 3-8 ATS in its last 11 on the road, and 1-5 ATS in its last six against the SEC.

The Wildcats are 5-1 ATS in their last six overall, 6-1 ATS in their last seven at home, and 6-1 ATS in their last seven against opponents with winning records. It is also worth noting that the favorite is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings between the two teams.

While I like the UK to win this game, I also LOVE the total in this matchup.

Led by QB Micale Cunningham, the Cardinals have scored 90 points in their past two games. The over is 5-2 in the Cardinals’ last seven overall and 7-1 in their last eight on the road.

It is also 19-7 in the Wildcats’ last 26 non-conference contests. Additionally, the over is 4-1 in the last five meetings between the two teams.

I'm betting this game becomes a shootout and the OVER hits rather easily in this matchup.
