    4%  Take San Antonio (#543)

It’s a true ‘circle the wagons’ game for San Antonio tonight after opening up their ‘Rodeo Road Trip’ with three consecutive losses; now 2-6 SU in their last eight ballgames.  Much of their recent struggles can be blamed on a tough schedule; facing the Lakers, Clippers and suddenly hot Blazers on the highway in a four day span.  DeMar DeRozan, following the loss at Portland on Thursday: “Plenty of time left, but not plenty of time left.  We’ve got to go out there and play with desperation…..we’re not going to let down.  We’re not going to quit.”

While the Spurs can be expected to bring their ‘A’ game tonight, the Kings cannot.  The Kings are off back-2-back wins, including a ‘hot three point shooting’ victory against Miami last night; a game where they took more than half their shots from beyond the arc while hitting at a 43% clip.  I’ll take the ‘Under 43% three point shooting’ on the second of back-2-backs here.  Sacramento has won consecutive games on six previous occasions this season.  They’ve won three games in a row only once, and they’ve lost by 20+ three times in their last four tries following back-2-back victories; an emerging Under-the-Radar angle worth riding tonight!  Take the Spurs.
