The La Clippers were on a 6 game win streak before they ran into the other LA team on the weekend. The Clippers are finally fully healthy and rolling. In fact, the Clippers were 10-0 with a full healthy roster until they played the Lakers on Sunday. This is a great bounce back opportunity for LA and Kawhi, who played a very poor game on Sunday. Expect a huge Kawhi performance tonight, as he actually plays better on the road, shooting a higher percentage and scoring 28 ppg. Stephen curry is questionable this game but that does not impact my decision at all. GSW ranks 23rd on defense and 30th in defending the perimeter, dead last. They aren't getting it going on offense either, as they rank 27th. Not to mention they are also 29th in FG% and 29th in 3pt%. The Warriors defense has also been statistically worse at home, allowing higher shooting percentages and allowing more points than they do on the road (115 PPG). This is a fantastic match up/get right game for Kawhi and Paul George as they will take turns rotating Andrew Wiggins on the Barbeque all game. The Clippers hold the 5th best offense in the NBA, and are also 10th in 3pt shooting, and 3rd in offensive rebounding. Defense is where they make their money, especially on the road. The Clippers rank 3rd in opponent FG% and 2nd in defending the perimeter. This team actually plays much better defense on the road, only allowing 105 PPG! The Clippers have all bases covered in this game. These are the main reasons Clippers will blow GSW out. 3 point shooting, defense, rebounding. The Warriors are dead last in defending the 3ball while the Clippers shoot it at a very high rate, 10th in the league. The Clippers also outrebound the Warriors 48-43 per game while allowing 10 less points! The Warriors rank 20th in turnovers while LA ranks 3rd in FTA's, expect a lot of fast break buckets and fouls as well. This is a mismatch from head to toe. It is going to be a talent disparity issue and the Warriors simply cannot keep up. The Clippers bench is even better than the Warrior starters. Lock in LA.
