    4%  Take Dallas (#539)

The Mavs have been money in the bank in one role this year: coming off a loss.  The numbers do not lie.  Off 25 previous losses prior to their frustrating defeat at the hands of Indiana over the weekend (held scoreless over the final three minutes while blowing a late lead), the Mavs have gone 20-5 SU, 18-6-1 (75%) ATS.  That’s a track record worthy of support, even with some injury concerns for Dallas this evening – I like the Mavs tonight even if Luka Doncic doesn’t suit up (listed as questionable).   Big man Kristaps Porzingas following the loss to Indiana on a 3-17 shooting effort: “It's like that sometimes -- you just don't make shots. It came down to those shots (and those situations). There are so many things that could have went better during the game, so many things I could have done better."

The Mavs have a better game in them than the one they just played.  The Spurs, on the other hand, are watching Greg Popovich’s streak off 22 consecutive playoff appearances grind to a close as they sit in the #12 seed in the West right now after losing five of their last seven SU (0-7 ATS), including losses to the Cavs and Nets on their just concluded road trip.  They could get LaMarcus Aldridge back in the lineup here, but they won’t have Dejounte Murray or Lonnie Walker IV; a pair of significant injury losses in their backcourt.  Look for Dallas to sweep this season series after winning the first three games against the Spurs, all by enough of a margin to cover this spread just like the Spurs swept the season series last year.  Take the Mavs
