This is going to be a hold your nose kind of play because Wade LeBlanc is the picture of mediocrity. The southpaw threw 5+ decent innings in Boston last time out holding the Red Sox to four runs and four hits. He struck out four and didn't walk anyone in a 76 pitch effort. I'm not the biggest fan of the Rays offense and just need them to get off to a slow start against the southpaw. He faced them twice last year giving up five runs and 12 hits in just over 10 innings.
On the other side, it's Tyler Glasnow who held the Braves to one hit and one run in four innings while striking out nine. Glasnow got a lot of love in the preseason as a potential Cy Young candidate and looked good once already. Last year he posted a 1.29 ERA in 14 innings against Baltimore with their hitters hitting just .118 against him in his career. The O's offense is very mediocre for the most part so I'm hoping they put up a 0 or 1 in this early group of innings.
** Glasnow must pitch for action **
