4%  Take the LA Dodgers (#912) on the Run Line.

Playing on the Dodgers off a loss has paid significant dividends in recent weeks.  Since their six game losing streak back in the second week of April, the Dodgers have avoided losing streaks like the plague; going 10-1 in their last eleven tries off a single defeat like the one they suffered last night.  Most of those recent wins have been blowouts: 10-3 after a loss to the Giants, 5-0 and 6-0 following losses to the Nats, 8-3 after a loss at Cinci and 10-2 after a loss at Tampa.

The Dodgers lineup continues to sizzle, a big part of the reason why each of their last 14 victories has come by a multi-run margin; covering on the Run Line.  LA has pounded out 40 runs in their last five games; scoring six or more nine times in their last 13 contests.  That’s bad news for Noah Syndergaard and the dicey Mets bullpen behind him.  Syndergaard has certainly looked vulnerable, allowing five runs or more five times in his last eight trips to the hill; not pitching at an ace level these days.

That stands in sharp contrast to Walker Buehler, who has allowed a grand total of two earned runs over 19 innings of work in his last three outings.  And the Dodgers kept their key bullpen arms fresh last night, primed to close out tonight’s game with a win by two runs or more.  Take the Dodgers on the Run Line.
