Kansas State head coach Chris Klieman was quoted during the Wildcats bye week bemoaning his depth; talking about how he had much more quality depth at FCS North Dakota State than he has here in Manhattan right now.  Even after their bye, K-State is still a banged up football team.  In their last two games – against Oklahoma State and Baylor – this offense hasn’t been able to move the football for extended stretches.  The offensive line isn’t good, QB Skylar Thompson has only five TD passes in five games, and this team lacks speed among their skill position players.  It’s all dink and dunk with the Wildcats right now; a team that has looked outclassed on both sides of the football.

TCU frosh QB Max Duggan has thrown nine touchdowns without an interception this season, showing a ‘deep ball’ arm in his last two starts against Kansas and Iowa State.  Unlike K-State, the Horned Frogs have legitimate weapons on offense in RB Darius Anderson and WR Jalen Reagor; a team capable of putting big play, quick strike TD’s on the board to get the crowd out of the game.  Coming off a blowout loss and a bye, I trust Gary Patterson in spots like this.  Road chalk worth laying!  Take TCU
