We feel that San Jose is worth a "second look" in this matchup, especially on the puckline option. The Wings are 8-4, but just 3-3 on the road. San Jose is 4-6-2, including only 2-3-2 at home.
The Sharks, though, are playing really well, having won three of their last four, including last night's 3-2 OT win over the Avalanche.
With three nights off after this, we don't expect fatigue to be an issue for San Jose.
Detroit won its first two road games, but then fell short in a 5-2 loss at Anaheim last time out. With a more high-profile and difficult game in Vegas after this to close out their trip, the Wings also get caught "looking ahead" tonight.
