Whether or not they were thinking about this week, the trip to Hawaii didn't go well. The Aztecs are a perfect 4-0 at home though. Off their only previous loss, they responded by crushing Cal 34-0. Boise relies heavily on QB Maddux Madsen. The Bronco offense really sputtered without him, after he left the Fresno games. While the Broncos are off a bye, their coach recently said that he expected Madsen to be “out for a while.” Go with the Aztecs.

The Nuggets beat me last night but I don't think they'll do it twice in a row. That was a relatively hard-fought game; Jokic played nearly 33 minutes while Murray logged more than 37. Gordon and Braun were right around the 30 mark. Playing their second game in two days, the Nuggets will face a struggling but determined Clipper team, one which had yesterday off. Remember, this is the first meeting since the Nuggets beat the Clippers in a Game 7 in last year's playoffs. Even short-handed, look for the Clippers to rise to the occasion and score the upset.
