The PLAY: FALCONS UNDER 5 WINS -150
Atlanta went 2-4 in their division last year and they did not even have the worst record in their division. The Saints, Bucs, and Panthers all improved their roster while Atlanta did little to nothing in that regard this offseason. Say Atlanta goes 1-5 or even 2-4 in their division, they still may only end up with 3 total wins. Atlanta has a tough schedule against teams with good defensive lines, great quarterback play, and, simply put, better football players. Maybe the Falcons beat the Bears in Week 11, but besides that, it is tough to find wins on their schedule. I see three wins; my model sees 3.7.
There is not much else to say about the Falcons besides for, “they stink”. I tried to play devil’s advocate with myself, but I just do not see a world where the Falcons are even the slightest bit competitive this season. Their coaching staff is not good enough to overcome their horrid roster and their tough schedule will have Atlanta looking to land CJ Stroud or Bryce Young at pick No. 1 or 2 in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Who is Eric Pauly (Slime)?
Eric Pauly graduated from the top public college in New York with a degree in Finance. His favorite gambling movements include hitting a +1000 future on Washington to win the NFC East in 2020 and predicting Jonathan Taylor’s breakout season with a +900 ticket for him to win the 2021 NFL rushing title. Eric's success has him labeled as a rising star and he is blossoming into a force to be reckoned with in the sports betting industry.
What sports does he bet on and how frequent are wagers made?
Eric focuses all his time and effort on handicapping the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NCCAF and he has daily plays. Eric always looks to beat the closing line, so he will bet games when he knows he has an edge.
What are his handicapping methods?
Eric is a qualitative handicapper with quantitative reinforcement. For example, Eric sets his own spreads for games by breaking down the non-numeric factors surrounding each game. Then, Eric consults with his quants to see if the data matches his qualitative research. If his research matches up with the numbers, Eric will compare his numbers and odds to the sportsbooks to see if there is value in that matchup.
What is his strategy for pick rating and bankroll management?
Eric strictly stays on a to-win 3U or 5U system. The units represent a percentage of his total bankroll. For example, if a game has -110 odds, Eric will be either 3.3% or 5.5% to win 3 units. If a game has +200 odds, Slime will bet 1.5% of his bankroll to win 3%. There are rare instances where Eric finds immense value and releases a 10% bet.
